Carhartt WIP is marking 50 years of the Active Jacket with four special edition designs that honor the original’s history and evolution. First introduced in 1975, the jacket was inspired by the classic Hooded Zip Sweatshirt but rebuilt with a tougher outer shell and warm lining. The first version came in denim with a red flannel interior, later followed by the duck canvas style that became the most recognized version.
