Carhartt WIP: Fall/Winter 2026 by Alex Acy
Carhartt WIP launches its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, shot by French-Canadian filmmaker and photographer Alex Acy. The campaign is set after an afternoon of chaos, but with a twist: Everything happens in reverse. The film plays in reverse, taking viewers back to the beginning as the moments leading up to the chaos are slowly revealed.
The film includes three friends, a dog, a car, a couch, and a few cans of paint. Violet paint splatters and streaks are scattered throughout the scenes, linking the different moments and contrasting with the collection’s deep burgundy, green, and navy tones. Reverse storytelling offers another perspective on a typical sequence of events.
Based in Paris, Alex Acy works on music videos, narrative films, and commercial projects. His visual style often incorporates hyperreal imagery, giving the campaign a unique look. The project showcases Carhartt WIP's Fall/Winter 2026 collection through a blend of everyday scenarios, visual effects, and curated moments.
