The British footwear brand Solovair has teamed up with Carhartt WIP for a new collection launching in Fall/Winter 2025. Known for its handmade shoes and Goodyear welted construction, Solovair worked closely with Carhartt WIP to create a small range that blends classic craftsmanship with the streetwear label’s clean design style.
The collection features three leather styles: a Single Buckle Monk in Hamilton Brown, and a 3-Eye Gibson shoe offered in Dusty Hamilton Brown and Black. Each pair is made in Solovair’s factory in Northamptonshire, England, using the brand’s signature soft suspension sole for comfort and durability. Subtle details, like an embossed Carhartt WIP “C” logo on the heel and the brand’s familiar earthy color palette, connect the shoes to Carhartt WIP’s workwear roots.
Solovair, whose name means “Sole-of-air,” started in the early 1960s but has deeper roots. The shoes are made by the Northamptonshire Productive Society (NPS), a British manufacturer founded in 1881. To this day, Solovair shoes are still crafted at the same South Street factory where NPS has worked since 1899, using traditional methods passed down through generations.
This release brings together two brands known for quality and timeless style, offering footwear built to last and easy to wear.
