KOMONO x Sybrand Jansen

KOMONO has partnered with designer Sybrand Jansen to create a new line of sunglasses inspired by finding beauty in the damaged. Jansen began the project with a pair of crushed sunglasses she found on the street, which became the starting point for exploring how something broken could be turned into a new design.

His signature fractured sunglasses are now being adapted into a more refined and wearable frame for everyday use. The collaboration marries Jansen’s experimental approach with KOMONO’s focus on contemporary eyewear, keeping the signature broken look while making it more wearable.
