thisisneverthat has teamed up with FUTURA LABORATORIES for a special collaborative collection, bringing together streetwear and contemporary art. The project highlights the legacy of FUTURA, a pioneer who emerged from the 1970s New York subway scene and helped redefine graffiti by introducing abstract forms beyond traditional lettering. His influence continues today through FUTURA LABORATORIES, known for pushing creative boundaries across art, fashion, and design.

To mark the collaboration, a special in-store event was held at the Seongsu flagship of thisisneverthat in Seoul. The event offered visitors a closer look at FUTURA’s extensive archive, reinterpreted through the lens of the brand, creating a deeper connection between his artistic journey and the collection itself.

The highlight of the event was a talk session and book signing featuring FUTURA, Michael Dupouy, and creative director KB Lee. Running in the afternoon, the session gave fans and attendees a rare opportunity to hear insights directly from the collaborators while celebrating the fusion of street culture and abstract art.
