EDWIN worked with Amsterdam-based Freeter Studio on a two-day project during Amsterdam Fashion Week. The collaboration combined a selected part of EDWIN’s archive with Freeter Studio’s approach to customizing clothing and objects.

For the project, a limited-edition, Made in Japan denim set was created by turning EDWIN archive graphics into one-of-one pieces with laser printing. The denim project also inspired an exhibition built around the idea of archives, with filing cabinets, documents, and studio equipment used to shape the space.

Alongside the exhibition, Freeter Studio held a public workshop where visitors could try the techniques and design their own EDWIN piece. The project offered visitors a look into Freeter’s hands-on approach and how it’s evolving from clothing into a broader creative studio that works on installations, events, and collaborations.
