EDWIN Music Channel closes out the busy year by welcoming the US trio Purelink. Tommy Paslaski (Concave Reflection), Ben Paulson (Kindtree), and Akeem Asani (Millia) are the trio that made up Purelink. Originally formed in Chicago and now based in Brooklyn, New York, the group shares a deep interest in ambient music, dub techno, IDM, and softer club sounds. Their music blends calm atmospheres with gentle rhythms, using soft pads, submerged melodies, and subtle pulses to create a sound that feels spacious and emotional.

Purelink first gained attention through a series of EPs before releasing their debut album Signs in 2023 on the Los Angeles–based label Peak Oil. Built from long live improvisation sessions, the album highlighted their strong group chemistry. In June 2025, they followed with Faith, a more introspective and expansive release featuring collaborations with producer Loraine James and poet Angelina Nonaj, adding new emotional depth to their sound.

Working as a true collective, Purelink focus on collaboration and atmosphere rather than individual spotlight. Their music invites slow listening and quiet reflection while staying rooted in modern electronic language. This approach is also clear in their nearly 70-minute mix for The EDWIN Music Channel, a calming journey featuring artists such as Elijah Jamal Asani, Carrier, Willson Tanner, Félicia Atkinson, and Roxymore.
