Gramicci has published its first archive book, called The Incomplete Archive. The book takes a look at the brand’s history, starting from its early days in California’s climbing scene in the 1980s to how it developed over the years. Gramicci is known for making functional clothing, especially pieces designed for movement, which became popular both in outdoor communities and everyday life.

The 148-page book contains old photographs, early clothing designs, and interviews with people connected to the brand. Some of the interviews include the founder Mike Graham, creative director Stefan Wendler, and Hiroshi Kubo from BEAMS. The book also features materials and images that have not been shared publicly before.

Gramicci held an event in Tokyo to present the archive, but the book may also be available through selected Gramicci dealers. Those interested can check with their local store for more information.
