EDWIN’s Neighborhood Service series visits Yasubé Soba, a small soba shop in Kachidoki, Tokyo. Founded in 1991, Yasubé has served handmade soba noodles, tempura, and seasonal dishes for more than 30 years. What began as an eight-seat eatery has grown into a well-known local favorite.
The restaurant was taken over by owner Kotaro Kawamoto around 2000. Over the years, it has also become a meeting place for Kawamoto and friends from the Tokyo club and music scene. EDWIN draws inspiration from Yasubé and its place in the neighborhood for a small range of T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies for Autumn/Winter 2026.
