Based in Berlin, Marylou has built a strong reputation for immersive DJ sets that move across genres like dub, noise, jazz, footwork, and breakcore. Her style blends calm, atmospheric moments with heavy drums, deep bass, and unexpected tempo changes. She treats each set like a journey, using contrast and rhythm to keep the listener engaged while turning the dancefloor into a space for experimentation.
Marylou grew up on the southwest coast of France, influenced by sound system culture and her surroundings. She later studied painting and cinema, which still shape how she builds her musical narratives. After developing her career in Paris where she organized events, wrote about music, and became a resident on Rinse FM France, she moved to Berlin and became part of its avant-garde and club scenes.
She is a member of the Wheel of Fortune collective alongside Roxymore, CCL, and Nono Gigsta. Her mixes have appeared on platforms like Mutant Radio, Cashmere Radio, and Refuge Worldwide, and she has performed at well-known events and venues such as Atonal, Terraforma, Freerotation, Café Oto, and Berghain. Selected for the SHAPE+ 2024–2025 roster, she continues to push modern DJ culture forward. For EDWIN Music Channel Mix N°147, she created a bass-heavy set with jazz elements and experimental sounds.
