MARKET STUDIOS is bringing back its original Chinatown Market identity, reintroducing the name that first put Michael Cherman's work on the streetwear map. Based in Los Angeles, Chinatown Market became known for its graphic-heavy designs and nods to sports, music, and pop culture.

The brand later rebranded to MARKET, widening its scope thru collaborations and collections across fashion, art and entertainment. During this period, it continued to develop the graphic and do-it-yourself approach that defined its early work.

The name Chinatown Market once again evokes the former identity of the brand, while maintaining the creative direction established by MARKET STUDIOS. The change returns the focus to the name, while also paying homage to the brand’s long-standing relationship with streetwear and contemporary culture.
