Carhartt WIP: New Store in Amsterdam

Carhartt WIP has opened a new store in Amsterdam, located at Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 34 in the historic Spiegelkwartier district. The 230sqm space sits in a neighborhood known for its art galleries and antique shops, making it a fitting location for the brand's latest retail destination.

Designed by Salomée Faeh and architect Andrea Caputo, the store occupies a former art gallery and retains a clean, gallery-inspired look. White walls, simple shelving, light plywood details, and a large commissioned artwork by Amsterdam-based artist Nazif Lopulissa reflect the building's creative heritage.

The interior also incorporates industrial features often found in Carhartt WIP stores, including concrete fixtures, exposed ductwork, and glass display cases. Additional highlights include two life-sized marble Boogeymen at the entrance and a large steel display structure with a speaker system at the rear of the store.
